Christmas is one of my favourite times to set a lovely table and get everyone together to enjoy each other’s company. This was my table last year. Simple, elegant and full of little details that make you smile.

This cupcake recipe is for adults only thanks to the boozy cream filling. However, much like any mince pie recipe, the booze is optional and can be left out if you want to make the cupcakes family-friendly. These cakes are great instead of or alongside the traditional Christmas bake.
